Verre reizen heeft hij gemaakt en andere culturen heeft hij leren kennen. Maar van de kunst en cultuur in Amsterdam, met uitzondering van feestjes zoals Awakenings en Static, heeft Doran weinig kaas gegeten.
Daarom is het de hoogste tijd dat deze student communicatie zich eens gaat vermaken bij het blazen van trompettisten in een jazzcafé en het hoge gillen van tenoren tijdens een opera.
De manier waarop voetbal wordt beleefd in de oorlogsjaren is interessant om te zien. Vaak was er geen eten of werden er razzia´s gehouden. Dit had tot gevolg dat er gaandeweg de Tweede Wereldoorlog steeds minder werd gevoetbald met als dieptepunt de hongerwinter van 1944.Fascinerende beelden laten zien hoe massaal de toestroom was van mensen naar de stadions. Het museum laat aan de hand van verschillende thema´s zien hoe de mensen voetbal hebben ervaren. Van het verzet tot aan de hongerwinter. Dit zorgt voor een overzichtelijke indeling van de filmpjes, beeldschermen en andere interactieve hoogstandjes. Het Verzetsmuseum krijgt van mij vier sterren.
