Zal nooit houden van: mensen die zeggen dat ze ergens niet van houden terwijl ze het nog nooit geproefd hebben!
Om te voorkomen dat Marijn zo iemand wordt, heeft ze zich in het Check Uit team gestort. Nu gaat haar hart vooral sneller kloppen van goede theaterstukken in alle soorten en smaken. Maar hoe zit dat dan met dans? Of experimentele kunsttentoonstellingen? Klassieke muziek?
Of … of… tsja wat is er eigenlijk nog meer? Ze checkt het uit in Amsterdam voor Check Uit!
Het theaterstuk is gebasseerd op het boek 'The Postoffice' en vertelt het verhaal van postbode Henk die met zijn collega postbode in een treurig resort verblijft.
Henk is een grote sul, een zielig stoïcijns figuur die continu door anderen overruled wordt en alleen iets over zichzelf kan vertellen wanneer niemand luistert.
Het script is fantastisch en de personages worden zo geniaal neergezet dat het aan een stuk door grappig is. Echt een aanrader. De voorstelling is in april te zien in de Melkweg dus houd TG Monk in de gaten!

Helemaal aan het eind van het stuk kreeg ik het gevoel dat het wat veel van hetzelfde werd door het gebrek aan actie/gebeurtenissen.
