Het verhaal wordt verteld door middel van dans, spoken word, rap, tekst en projectie. Ook de onmiskenbare ISH-skills waaronder acrobatiek, streetdance, lyrical hiphop en soundscapes geven het verhaal van 'STORMISH - Who the f*** ISHakespeare?' weer.
Prospero is als hertog van Milaan erg geliefd bij zijn bevolking, maar zijn jaloerse broer Antonio zet hem af. Samen met zijn dochter Miranda wordt Prospero op zee achtergelaten en ze stranden op een desolaat eiland. Hier ontwikkelt hij zijn magische krachten en met hulp van de geest Ariel wekt hij een storm op waarbij zijn oude vijanden schipbreuk lijden. Ze spoelen aan op het eiland en zijn overgeleverd aan de krachten van Prospero. Is hij uiteindelijk in staat zijn vijanden te vergeven of zint hij op nog meer wraak?

Dit is een must see in het theater! Met zoveel verschillende diciplines in 1 stuk was ik er bang voor dat er op de kwaliteit ingeleverd zou worden, maar die angst bleek onterecht. Het is een voorstelling waar je ogen en oren te kort komt en die je zeker stimuleert om zelf eens Shakespeare te gaan lezen.
